An Amber play-by-email game, by adults, for adults.
It has been ten years since Random was crowned King of Amber. The threat of war from Chaos has subsided. Random and his siblings have successfully rebuilt the web of alliances known as the Golden Circle that bound Amber to her trading partners. King Random is holding a diplomatic-summit-cum celebration at Castle Amber.
Everyone who is anyone will be there: Princes of Amber, nobles, Golden Circle leaders, Rebmans. And everyone has a secret agenda of their own.
The members of the Golden Circle seek to maintain their power; newcomers seek to join the Golden Circle. Politicians, wizards, warriors, spies: each of them has something they desire from the Princes and Princesses of the blood.
The ambitious would have their sons and daughters, if not themselves, allied by marriage or blood with the great kingdom.
If only they can attract the interest of the royals ...
A Grand Affair is a troupe-style freeform Amber PBeM for adults only. Each
player will take on the role of a member of the royal house of Amber, and
additionally one or more other roles as visitors to the castle for the
Grand Affair.
While characters will have individual goals, there is no overarching plot. The game will focus instead on interpersonal relationships, intrigue, and romance. The game is rated NC-17 and is for adults only.
