Challenge: chocolate raspberry death

The challenge: to improve the decadence of a favorite dessert: dubbed chocolate raspberry death - a fancy name for what is essentially just an icecream sundae, made with

Godiva chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream
Freshly whipped cream (poured from a carton - there must be opportunity here)
Fresh raspberries
Sauce: in it's original form this was a raspberry fudge sauce (purchased), but I haven't found it since. Instead, I currently have on hand....

  • Smucker's Dark Chocolate ice cream topping (boring)
  • raspberry chambord sauce (made from scratch, including freshly squeezed OJ)
  • Knipschildt Raspberry & Peppercorn Syrup
  • Knipschildt Spiced Chocolate Sauce
  • chocolate Caramel Sin
  • Pemberton's Death By Chocolate, raspberry dessert sauce.

One possible improvement already on the agenda, but not yet tried, is to add a slice of brick (chocolate raspberry cheesecake).

I can feel the breeze from your sugar rush from here...

It sounds good, though.

I'd use the chambord sauce. Also, light shavings of a good dark chocolate over top of all, perhaps?

I like Karin's idea of dark chocolate over top of all...and use the energy from the sugar rush wisely, my friend. ;-)
