In my completely inexpert opinion, I'd be willing to bet that he took more than 5 years off of his life. We'll see what kind of cancer he ends up contracting.

Hell, I bet he took thirty years off his life--dead of osteonoma at forty is my prediction.

If this kid had made any publicity for himself at all, he could have scored a full scholarship to MIT or CalTech and gone on to be a brilliant scientist/inventor. Instead he's a sailor. Not quite his full potential.

Hmmn.. My husband was an Eagle Scout, I should ask if he's created any public health hazards I should be aware of.
