Gloating Unbecoming

I'd just like to point out three things, because, frankly, anything that increases the existential angst of SUV drivers is jake with me:

1. My commute still costs me less than a quarter.
2. $2/gallon is still less than the historical maximum, set in 1981 at just under $3 in current dollars. We're still headed up, baby.
3. Americans still have the cheapest gas in the world.

I'm just saying.
