D&D 2?

I wish to bring this potential horror to your attention.

Why I allowed myself to be optimistic about the first film, I'll never know. The omens were bleak, and honestly so. That movie was so far beyond awful, it's just incredible. What kind of myopic dementia lets a professional filmmaker take pride in such a catastrophe? What kind of rank insanity makes him want to do it AGAIN? Feh.

I'm not sure which incites more disgust: the idea of even attempting to make a sequel to D&D, or, the idea of any movie involving Paris Hilton... Sheeesh... Could it possibly brim with any less potential?

Hopefully they'll call it "Dungeons & Dragons: The Second Edition".

I do not believe it possible that the sequel could be any worse than the first movie. Hence, I expect that it will exceed my expectations. I think we should plan a group viewing when it opens, ideally while drunk.

This is so horrific that I was consumed with nervous laughter for several minutes. If it so happens that they do make a sequel that involves the vacuous Hilton scion, then it will truly be one for the film hall of shame.

The first movie makes for riotous fun when watched under the influence and in the company of friends who enjoy an MST3K -style running commentary.

In the first film, Jeremy Irons delivers a delightful performance that comes off looking like he's laughing hysterically between every take. Maybe they'll recruit someone equally overqualified for the next villain.

Yeah, I love really bad movies. I blame it on my classics teacher.
