Transitional Fossils

For those of you with an interest in mammalian evolution, PZ Myers over at Pharyngula takes the technical description of the new discovery Yanoconodon and tells the layman why it's important.

Hint: If someone ever repeats to you the creationist lie "There are no transitional fossils", you can simply point to your ear.
