Astute reader Brandon Edwards notes with respect to "Bad President Reagan, No Jelly Bean!":
A HUGE point you missed about his bad policies was his dereguation of the Savings and Loans which lead to their complete collapse in the late 80's. This was beyond a huge blunder and another reason as to why whatever big business does is not always good for the people.
An excellent point, and I don't know how I overlooked it. Reagan was the first successful anti-regulation Republican (compare to, say, trust-busting Teddy), and the S&L scandal made abundantly clear why appropriate regulation is important for the maintenance of capitalism.
