While Trump contains elements of mental contact, players should not assume that characters can, as a default, use Trump to conduct telepathic conversation. Players who believe their characters should be able to do so should contact the GMs before doing so. When you are in a Trump contact, normally you can see the person you’re talking to and what is around them; you can hear what they have to say, but normally not what people around them are saying. Bystanders cannot casually contribute to the contact; they mostly think you’re talking to a card, or to empty air. It is possible for Trump gods (you know who you are) to join in a contact, assist someone to join in their contact, or to effectively speak telepathically via Trump. However, this is not a normal circumstance and characters without a superior rating in Trump may not do so.0 Comments |
