Pounding the PCs

We’ve been thinking about how often we injure/wound/otherwise incapacitate the PCs recently. I’ve got a list in my head, but since I’m sure I’ve forgotten some things, I invite the players to remind us in the comments of when we have stomped them and sent them to the infirmary.

Well, Aisling-the-purple was forced to cut off the end of one of its three arms... I don't remember any other physical hurts, though.

Conner was a punching bag for Tritons. I think that's about it so far.

Ummmm...eventually needing some intensive psychotherapy doesn't count, does it? (How many death-screams do you carry around inside your head? That's a nifty quiz question.)

Paige got forcibly picked up and dumped back on a couch once... Think that's it.

Oh, and Gerry threatened to paddle her. [Probably backed off that knowing how much she might enjoy it...]

Hmmmmm.... Nothing infirmary-worthy really.
Shot by phantom uncles. And their cronies. (Doesn't really count 'cause it didn't hurt.) Smashed flat by cave-in (maybe.) Fell/stepped off a cliff into some moderately hard water. Noggin-tankard collision. Hand fillet on cell door. General thumpings from en masse rude boyz.... just the normal stuff, really.
Though I think I'm only getting off that lightly 'cause I know better than to spar with Lilly. ;)

Brita always seems in line to take on the big guns - Artemis in bear form and our friend Death. Getting pummelled is nothing new for Brita; she did grow up with Viking Gods and Giants. Nothing like getting struck by Uncle Thor's lighting or ambushed by Uncle Loki in his wolf form to brighten someones day.... Brita is hoping that Big Fight #3 results in the luck of the draw going her way for once...

Well I don't how you classify 'recently' but Adonis got comprehensively crippled more than once - admittedly the first time but another PC at his own order. :-)

(Of course, I do realize that there's something inherently... wrong about Robin and Daeon talking strategy. ;)

I don't think of Marius' health as being anything related to the GMs at all. After all, like Hamlet (but unlike Bottom) he needs to be interpreted.

I think that's cause thumpings are near and dear to all of our hearts. 'sides I'm too shy to get really rowdy on the OOC list. ;)

This way only people who are interested get bomb-barded. :)
