KCOR Revelations

Kris and I were discussing various HOC characters through the Scooby paradigm lens, and I figured out something about the Knights: they have no Daphnes.

This explains a lot about the course of the last Knights meeting.

Lilly is a Fred most of the time, and a Velma the rest. I like her, but it's a sad group in which she passes for Daphne.

I dunno, I just liked the idea of the most taciturn player being the Daphne.

No. Realistically speaking, we have no Daphnes.

We do have a Scooby, though.

Are you sure we don't have two?

Every time I read the Scooby gang thing, I think, "Man, none of this sounds like anything I've seen..." And then I get to Scooby. Maybe I'd be happier with it if I'd watched "Scooby Doo."

Amusing as it is to consider that Lilly might be a Daphne, I was struck by the thought that the knight with the greatest Daphne potential was in fact Daeon. Now there's a scary thought.

Of course, that would involved, finding him, keeping him alive, and then finding a way to turn him into a Daphne. Not a small ask. But once converted, he'd probably be an excellent Daphne.

Daeon would currently be a Scooby, if he weren't off in Arcadia being a football. Turning a Scooby into a Daphne's sort of an interesting concept.
