GM Fantasia: What We Thought Paige Should’ve Said…

posted by Michael at 08:29 PM, December 02, 2003 | Filed under : Miscellaneous | Comments and Followups

[Brennan] turns back to look at Paige in more detail. “How long has it been in your flow?”

Paige blinks once in surprise, opens her mouth, and shuts it again. Her eyes light up and she says “Timeflow! You meant timeflow!”

GMM to GMG: “Why don’t we have a Sarky Comments category?”

Nope, I meant what I wrote, actually.

wordreference.com: Sarky ['sɑːkı] adjective (-kier, -kiest)  (British)  (informal)
sarcastic

Merriam-Webster:
snarky
Pronunciation: 'snär-kE
Function: adjective
Etymology: dialect snark to annoy, perhaps alteration of nark to irritate
Date: 1906
CROTCHETY, SNAPPISH
