Proposal Deadline: January 31

People were asking about a deadline date for character submissions, and Michael and I have decided we’d like them in by the end of the month.

We’ve had three concepts in already, including one we didn’t expect, so we’re expecting a total of six. While it wouldn’t surprise us if we got all the concepts in before January 31, we may not have time to look at them and discuss them before then.

While we’ll be willing to tell people if we see any showstoppers (e.g., a violation of continuity that would bar the character or some part of his/her history), we really don’t want to get into detailed discussions about the characters until we have proposals in from everyone who has expressed interest. We don’t want to build up expectations by saying too much, and we want to let everyone know that not saying anything doesn’t mean we’re not interested in the character concept.
