On Multiple Card Draws in a Single Encounterposted by Michael at 09:35 PM, August 13, 2004 | Filed under : Rules & Rules Updates , Useful Player Knowledge | Comments and Followups One of tonight’s post is the continuation of Jerod’s fight with a Triton in Llewella’s underwater timeshare condo. As part of that post we described how we draw cards and how we draw subsequent cards and how they affect a scene. If Jerod draws “The Smith, Reversed (Stab Your Cousin)”, we may find out how and if Tritons are related to Amberites. In general with a fight like this, the first card draw affects the circumstances of the encounter more strongly than subsequent draws. It’s possible to overcome a bad initial draw, but from the card-draw side, future card draws are more focused on individual events within the larger circumstances rather than re-writing those circumstances.
