IMC: Shadows of …posted by Ginger at 12:46 PM, November 24, 2004 | Filed under : IMC , NPCs | Comments and Followups Arref and Paul mention some fictional characters who are shadows of the elders in their campaigns. I tend to express the analogies between mythological characters and the Amberites who inspired them in the form of Ambertales. My favorite of these was actually the one I wrote in the original Amberway game, but I’m pretty fond of Hob’s tales and Ambrose’s tale, which are also mythologically sound. And, of course, Jason Bourne is a shadow of Martin, but you guys already knew that. He led Finland in it's fight against insuperable odds in the 1938/39 'Winter War' with Russia, but before this his whole life was dedicated to the art of war, starting in the Imperial Russian Army. How about Stephen Hawking as a shadow of Dworkin? |
