New Year’s Resolutions

We’re moving back to our regular schedule this week: M-W-F/Sa. After the better part of a month at 2x weekly, I can say I think the game runs more smoothly at 3x weekly and I don’t see a reduction in posting rate on a permanent basis.

Having said that, we will be out of pocket January 14-18, and will miss one, or probably two, posting rounds. Sorry to those in threads without other PCs to keep them busy.

Also having said that, we’d like to remind people of the posting commitment: 3x weekly, and please let us know if you’re going to have trouble making that or have a planned absence that will affect your ability to post. If you go without posting for a week without saying anything, we’ll send you a note to be sure we haven’t missed a reply or something. If you go for two weeks without posting or letting us know, we will regretfully put your character on hiatus and/or NPC the character as needed. We hate to do that, but it’s the only way to be fair to other players who are hung up on absent folks.

Since it’s the start of a new year, it’s also time to consider experience and contributions. Players should start considering how they want to spend their experience and whether their contributions are up to date. Look for more announcements about that in the near future.

Last, but not least, in case anyone was wondering, we don’t foresee adding any new PCs in the early part of the year. (We don’t have plans for later in the year, either, but we’re not forecasting that far ahead yet.) We’re happy with the recent additions, and we’d like to get all the new players settled before we consider any more cast changes.
