Patternwalk Policyposted by Ginger at 11:23 PM, May 25, 2005 | Filed under : Netiquette & Play Procedures , Useful Player Knowledge | Comments and Followups The question of how we will run Patternwalks came up in an email to the GMs, and we’re posting our answer to record it publicly for posterity. Any walk after the first Patternwalk, where you get your powers, will be a thread. Any walk taken without explicit permission (i.e., sneaking down to the basement) will be a thread. Any walk a player asks to be played will be a thread, and other first walks may be turned into a thread at the GM’s discretion. We have also written out what a PC experienced during a walk, although we probably wouldn’t do that for a first walk.
