I was just realizing it’s been almost exactly a year since Claire joined the game as Meg and she’s just finally gotten out of Abford. While I wouldn’t call this a failed experiment—the scene is going fabulously—it’s taken an awfully long time to get to this point. I’m glad the payoff seems to be worth it.

I certainly think it was well worth it.
And to throw a Huon-plot into the mix in the bargain, too!
I still kick myself for second-guessing my guess.
