One of my other gigs is at Fantastc Metropolis, a swank little Science Fiction/Fantasy website of the literary magazine variety. Anyway, totally unrelated to my working there, the Howling Curmudgeons (and not Commandos, as I originally posted) got a plug by Neddal Ayad, whose done some fairly cool interviews with folks like Thomas Ligotti and in general is a knowledgeable sort. So yay us!
That is all. I'm sorry I don't have anything about Rob Liefeld's attempts to prove other human beings are in fact composite entities, but all you need to do is read Fanboy Rampage to catch up on that.

It is surely the case that you mean "Howling Curmudgeons"--the Commandos are Nick Fury's old squad and we ain't quite that macho.
And the Neddal Ayad link is busted--the href text is incomplete.
Now if only the rest of the Curmudgeons could post more often--honestly, their insights are a lot more perceptive and less trivial than the crud I post....
Matt failed to mention that he is demonstrably a genius.
Greg, we're all in retreat from the juggernaut that is "Six Degrees of Snapper Carr."
Not only has it become a Fanboy Rampage-sized superthread, but it's now drawing old Usenet hands out of the woodwork. Follow that act...
As you can see, not only have I fixed the typo and the broken link, I have indeed dared to snatch up the gauntlet where Greg has thrown it down with thunderous force!
Seriously, Snapper Carr done kicked all the ass this wek.
See what I mean? I'm not sure you could get less perceptive and more trivial than the Snapper Carr thread....
Maybe if I haul out the old "Superheroes in Music" thread.
