I tried to post something about this a few hours ago, but Moving Type ate it.

Anyway, I've never been a fan of Morrison's mainstream superhero stuff and this did nothing to convince me otherwise. And do we really need another eeeevil military/government conspiracy?

And don't get me started on Quitely's inability to draw Superman's face the same way twice, or the page he seems to have composed specifically to draw the eye to Superman's colossal penis.

On the plus side, speaking of shiny, I've got tickets to an 8:15 showing of Serenity tonight, so that's good!

Shiny indeed, or as we say in these parts, "Holy crap." That splash page features the most exhilaratingly weightless Superman I think I've ever seen.

Anyone else amused that Luthor seems to be going through the same story as the animals in We3--right down to the lighting!?!
