Classic Thanksgiving Covers

by Doug

For the holiday coming up, I figured that Id go find some classic comics covers from Thanksgivings past. The only one I knew about off the top of my head was JSA 54 from two years ago, but its a big American holiday, right? Thered have to be a huge backlog of images. Christmas has them. Halloween is well represented. In the U.S., what other holiday lets you off work for two days in a row?

Apparently not. Jon Knutson has a Comics Cavalcade cover in his latest column, and I came up with Simpsons Comics 51 and a handful of Disney and Looney Toons covers (here, here, here, and a couple from Tony Isabella). Those are nice for a start, but weve got 70 years of comic-book history to choose from. Am I just looking in the wrong places? There must be huge amounts more.
