Back in the day, I used to run an Astro City mailing list that Kurt Busiek was on.
He mentioned he was doing Iron Lantern for Amalgam.
I suggested HECTOR. It was an obvious combination and Kurt had already thought of it. But to the best of my recollection, I came up with the backronym Highly Evolved Creature Totally Oriented on Revenge.
There are times when I cannot believe how proud I am of myself.
