So, Paris Hilton is set to play Nick Fury...
Just kidding, it's really Sam Jackson.
Paris Hilton should play one of Tony's love interests, though, just to piss people off.
(Yes, to punish everyone I am going to work Paris Hilton into my posts whenever possible. I hate you all.)
Anyway, I have to think that Sam Jackson is an interesting casting choice. Does he indicate an affirmative choice toward the the Ultimate side of things in movies. Spidey's organic webs also
seem influenced by the Ultimate universe.
The first few minutes of Live Free or Die Hard. Appropos of nothing at all...

Spidey does not have organic web-shooters in th Ultimate universe. It's a formulation based on the work of his deceased dad. He does organic web-shooters in the regular Marvel U, but that followed the movie.
So the movie was first, and wasn't influenced by the Ultimate line.
Huh. So he does. I blame either Chris Maka or Greg who are the ones who tell me about the Ultimate universe, though I have read several of the tpbs myself.
Movie Spider-Man is much more Spider-Man 2099 than Ultimate...organic webshooters, small claws that let him climb on walls, no magic "spider-sense", rather super enhanced vision...Why, in the novelization of the first movie, he even made SM2099's "at least the spinneret's don't shoot out my butt" joke!
Bruce Wayne dated Paris Hilton (essentially) in Detective #824 (Alfred set it up, though I don't know if it was intended as a joke on his part or not).

Resulting in the invention of bat-acyclovir.
