Sorry for the late notice, but we've had some scheduling demons to fight this time around and were just able to settle back into out normal second Saturday schedule for Curmudgeons Con. If you haven't joined us yet (and you know who you are), then you might not know the drill, but we meet at Manny's in Chicago's South Loop from 1:00 until we get tired of talking (and even then, we often go elsewhere to talk some more). Come on out and get your pastrami fix before turkey takes over for the holidays. See you there!

But, and I want to make this absolutely clear, if anyone embarasses us by ordering turkey pastram-- I'm sorry, I can't even type that sequence of characters...
But if you try ordering pastrami, make it the real kind, or Kirby help you!
Oh my god. That didn't even occur to me when I typed pastrami and turkey in such close proximity. While there may be a lovely spiced meat made from turkey, no matter what you want to call it, it ain't pastrami.
