More denting the backlog:
Dynamo 5: After reading the first volume, I went and got all the issues up to current.
This is an awesome superhero comic.
Fallen Angel: Is still very good, but I miss David Lopez's clear art. I'm a simple-minded reader, and J.K. Woodward's painted art is sometimes difficult for me to follow.
The Shi guest appearance, especially the guest art by Billy Tucci, was kinda fetish-creepy.
I've always been underwhelmed by new regular characters Sachs & Violens; their names are unfacile puns, their character themes would be interesting as hardcore but are pretty sad as tease, and their personalities are awfully bland.
Knights of the Dinner Table: RPGing as train-wreck humor. I've been reading it for a decade or so now, and it's pretty much the same as it was then. My only caution is that there's a bit too much continuity for what I want out of the strip (which is to drop in every so often and laugh). Over the strip's decade-plus existence, the cast has multiplied, and there's always a lot going on, and as a casual reader, I'm occasionally not sure who's who and what's going on.
Other: I also read all the new issues of all the books I've talked about in the previous installments, and my opinion pretty much hasn't changed. In particular, Ms. Marvel is thick in the middle of the Skrull invasion, and She-Hulk isn't, despite having a Skrull member of the cast.
There's a bothersome suggestion that I'm going to need to be reading Captain Marvel to understand the next few issues of Ms. Marvel. This will irritate me, like when Birds of Prey gets hijacked for Bat-crossovers.
Speaking of which, Sean McKeever still sucks. I'm not sure how he manages to get back to the status quo (e.g. Black Aliss out, Misfit back) so fast while still leaving me so cold, but he does. May have something to do with Misfit's reaction to the notion of Oracle going out in the field--she's surprised and negative, when everything we've previously known about Misfit would have suggested that her reaction would be an enthusiastic "Awesome! Let's go!" All of his characters are just not right in the same sort of way.

I haven't read Fallen Angel since the first trade ("I'm Dark! I'm ruthless! I CARE NOT!" "What's your day job?" "oh, I'm a soccer coach. I love kids!"), but I have read the original Sachs and Violens series, and that's a dead on interpretation of the characters.
