Blake's 7 (flash)
The Register, the acerbic tech news site from our quondam allies across the pond, has scooped the other tech news sites by letting it be known that Paul Darrow (Avon) has acquired the rights to and is currently planning to produce Blake's Seven: A Rebellion Reborn. W00t! It remains to be seen if Richard Hatch will acquire the rights to Battlestar Galactica or if Richter and Rauch will ever get the Buckaroo Banzai TV show off the ground. But hey, I'm hopeful.

The news on "Blake's 7" is cool, although I'm not sure how they're going to reconcile the series finale with this (I guess nobody saw Avon die, technically).

As for "Battlestar Galactica," the SciFi Channel is airing the new series later this year. Unless it tanks (and reportedly the new Commander Adama, Edward James Olmos, recommended that fan of the original series avoid it), I think Hatch is out of luck. And since when are Starbuck and Boomer chicks?

The pilot script for the "Buckaroo Banzai" series is still floating around, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
