Another New Tool

Trying out MarsEdit. I like the live preview. I was disappointed with ecto and have been looking for a good replacement. This one comes free with NetNewsWire, so I thought I'd give it a chance. We'll see how it does with multiple blogs, LJ, etc... The now playing feature should be on the interface, but that's a small issue. Currently playing in iTunes: Rerun by The Judys

Hi Adriaan,

Admittedly, I haven't looked at ecto since 0.2.1 back in January, so my opinion is out of date. At the time it seemed like a huge step back from Kung-Log. It had too many windows, causing information overload that I really wanted to be hidden or only rarely accessed.

Bottom line was that it got in the way of my blogging and Kung-Log still worked.

I have just downloaded 2.0 b36 to look at it, and all my entries show up as NO TEXT IN THIS ENTRY (including this entry). I'll give it a longer look and compare it to MarsEdit.

Drop me a line and I'll have a look. If possible output from Window->Console is very helpful. You're running MT, so it should be fine.
