This article in The Chronicle of Higher Education points to the story of a lone crusader out to clean up the dirty and corrupt world of academic poetry competitions. Academic poetry, where life is cheap and if you've got the right money or the right friends, you can put yourself on the Poetry Gravy Train for life. If you cross the Editors and Judges, you could end up on the bad end of Blank Verse...
