Mom's Remoulade Recipe

1 cup mayonnaise
1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice
1.5 tablespoons dijon mustard
1 tablespoon sweet pickle mustard (can be omitted)
1 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
1 teaspoon dried chervil leaves
0.5 teaspoon anchovy paste
1 teaspoon cholula or similar hot sauce


Combine ingredients, stirring well. Cover and chill thoroughly.

Serve with hot or cold meat, fish, or shellfish. --Especially good with crabcakes.
