The Genius, redux

Dear Tony LaRussa,

STOP PITCHING TO BELTRAN!

Thank you,

Pete

P.S. Especially with 2 outs and nobody on.

UPDATE: Whew. That's better.

About time, Jimmy. Houston's bullpen really sacked up tonight, but I can imagine the sports talk shows tomorrow verbally burning Garner in effigy for bringing Miceli in when Oswalt was available. Morris wasn't awful, but Munro was, and that helped.

So...Game 7 tomorrow. Can't say I like our chances against Clemens, but after watching Boston win tonight (I got your daddy right here), anything's possible.

I may be confused, but as you are both a Cards fan and a Houston resident and spending your formative years in the Houston burbs - yes, I think of the University town to the northwest as an extended burb of Houston - how can you lose? or choose. Just revel in the ambiguity and enjoy the game. (It has been fun to watch this series in particular... It's better than the political game that's on.)

Walk Beltran at your peril. Bagwell's bat is hot today.

Stop pitching to Pujols! Stop pitching Miceli period!

Miceli is money in the bank, baby. I must've replayed Edmonds' HR 10 times.

We won't see him in Game 7. If it was legal, they'd trade him tonight.

Speaking of walking. Why did Torre never walk Ortiz? He was killing them.
