Don't push me
'Cause I'm close to the edge

My review for Closer is up on Film Threat, in case anybody was interested in movies not featuring cartoon characters or lame Christmas plots.

Where's my Clive Owen Burger King wristwatch hawked by an insanely annoying American commercial equivalent of "The Office"?

Wait for it. He's doing Sin City next.

Loved that movie, absolutely loved it. Dan is an emotional dead-ringer for The Boy in high school. Everything was one big drama, all the time.

I thought Clive was stupendous. *sigh*

I almost ended up directing a production of "Closer" in our thesis season this year, but the actors chose other projects. (With the timing of the film, it's just as well.) But I really liked the play, so I had hopes for a good film. You are actually the first person from whom I've heard a positive review. Given that your reviews tend to be harsher than my opinions, that gives me great hope.

Yeah, well, bear in mind I've never seen the play. And I'm a big Clive Owen fan.

How did you get the oppurtunity to write movie reviews for that web site?
