Here's where I step on Chris' toes once again.[1]
Serenity
If you're a fan of Firefly (which I am), this trailer won't show you much you haven't already seen. Universal is obviously trying to bring in a larger audience than the one that consistently placed the show around #90 in the Nielsens.
But I saw a Reaver. So that's cool.
Batman Begins (you can also find it on MTV.com, which only allows IE downloads, so screw 'em)
Huzzah for the romance angle. As if this film wouldn't gross $250 million without a contrived love story between Bale and Katie Holmes, who - forgive my almost middle-aged eyes - still looks 15 years old to me.
Morgan Freeman rules.
Night Watch
The film (the first in a trilogy) that beat Spider-Man 2 in Russia. It sounds derivative, but looks quite cool.
And the development of movies like this proves conclusively that the fall of Communism was a good thing. Take that, Putin!
[1] Which is actually bullshit, as Chris puts more time and thought into his posts and columns than I do here with my half-assed dorkitude.
mmm Katie Holmes . . . If I were to have one sapphic experience . . .
...you'd what? Come on Vestal, you can't leave it like that. Details. That's what good bloggers do: Go into extreme detail.

Screw that Batman trailer, it's got nasty DRM crap attached to it. Wonder if unfuck.exe is still being updated?
That's why I haven't viewed it yet. I refuse to be a DRM butt-monkey for MTV.
Plus, as Pete here and Tom at www.themediadrop.com noted, the new MTV Overdrive isn't Firefox friendly so, as Pete so quaintly put it, screw 'em.

Hah, I checked.. freeme is a no-go, as is Ringoch and DRM2WMV. And why did nobody ever write an unfuck for Quicktime? Is it because all the sensitive hippie coders think Apple is full of peace and love? DRM delenda est!
I have to assume the QT version will be out in a couple of days, at the latest.
The Quicktime version is right here:
That trailer looks AWESOME. Sadly though, my little Katie Holmes is now dating Tom Cruise. Ugh. She's now the second best gay beard of all time....well, 3rd behind Katherine Hepburn and Nicole Kidman.
Thanks for the shout-out Pete. I completely blanked on the Serenity trailer last night and now have to wait until tonight to watch. Blasted work PC doesn't have Quicktime and I can't install software due to the communist IT department's rules.
