Taking 259 for the team

I probably wouldn't have thought to go looking for this on my own, but it's a great idea. The fact that the proprietor commented here only cements my faith in the enterprise, and so I heareby proclaim Plunk Biggio - dedicated to Craig Biggio's unintentional quest to set the record in HBP - a worthy effort.

As if that mattered.

Maybe if we could get the opposing pitchers to throw directly at his bat we could score some runs before the All-Star break.

I wish Craig was not so greedy in passing on his technique of getting pegged. If he would just teach this skill to Everett and Ausmus and all the other bashers in the lineup, perhaps the good guys could score more than one run a game. Is he like Bonds who refuses to tutor teammates because he fears these skills could be used against his team in the future? Just a thought.
