I wonder if the inappropriate gesture to which they're referring was actually the "Hook 'Em Horns" sign:
Months after members of "Al Pieda" marred a campus speech by Ann Coulter, another appearance by the controversial conservative commentator has been disrupted by a protester. During a speech last night at the University of Texas in Austin, a 19-year-old UT student was busted after asking Coulter a lewd question, which he followed up with equally inappropriate hand gestures, according to the below police affidavit. The student, Ajai Raj, was arrested by campus police and hit with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge. The police affidavit notes that Coulter's lecture was attended by "several children under the age of ten," which probably made them particularly sensitive when Raj queried Coulter about the sexual proclivities of certain right-leaning men.
If you ask me, parents who bring their ten year-old kids to an Ann Coulter speech ought to be brought up on child abuse charges.
was is really about anal? reading that, I thought the guy wondered if the penis "of certain right-leaning men" was as small as many assume it to be.
That would tie in nicely to the "hook 'em horns" signal as well.
Haven't Ann's anal proclivities been fully explored already? http://ifuckedanncoulterintheasshard.blogspot.com/
Can anyone really say enough bad things about that evil bitch?
but why isn't anyone answering the REAL question? this guy got ARRESTED for exercising his right to FREE SPEECH????
I am as strong a proponent of free speech as I know, but there is the issue of appropriateness to setting, as well as intention. Trust me; I teach high school. This comes up all the time.
Obviously he wasn't in the designated "free speech zone" on the West Mall.
I'm just impressed he got in there at all. Coulter must not be as adept as Bush at loading the audience with nothing but sycophants.
The "inappropriate" question came up after the unmarried, 40something Ann talked about the importance of (presumably heterosexual) marriage.
A more discreet question for Ann would have been "If you were to enter into a heterosexual marriage, what gender would you be marrying, exactly?" or maybe Quagmire's "Pre-op or post-op?"
The other day a friend of mine commented on my "Ann Coulter shoes." I said that I thought she might actually have bigger feet than mine (I'm a 10) and he said, well, she probably has many bigger things than you have. Bigger Adam's Apple, bigger . . .
Eww. She sicks me out. A worn out skank who stands up and expounds on sexual morality deserves to be called out as a mediawhoring hypocrite, no matter how tasteless the context.
Argh.
Coulter doesn't want to load the audience with sycophants. Her mission and Bush's mission diverge.
Bush wants to present his ideas and have everybody appear to agree with him. This will cause the rest of the world to agree with him. This allows him to push his agenda. He likes this.
Coulter does not want her crowd to agree with her. If her crowd agrees with her, she's out of a job. Coulter wants conflict. She has fame and the respect of the right precisely because of her ability to enrage us liberals and cause us to do stupid things. This is very useful to the right because they can then point at the stupid things and say "See? the liberals are dangerous mouth-frothers!"
Coulter should be called a hypocrite at every turn. She should not, however, have pies thrown at her. She wants the pies. Her job relies upon her receiving pies.
Stop throwing pies. It's not helping.
A Perfectly Cromulent Blog...

We don't need to point.
Yeah, but how cool is it that Ann Coulter had to answer a question about whether she does anal?
