1) If so, congratulations - you enjoy a medieval concept of society shared by the likes of Osama Bin Laden and fundamentalists from Iran to Indonesia. Funny old thing, life.
2) I've heard that the lord works in mysterious ways, but sending (at last count) 1600 kids to their deaths for a lie and using fear and hatred to create a nation of quivering, obediant automatons sounds like something the other guy might get behind.
Sorry, were those rhetorical questions?
Now you and I both know that merely coexisting with those of other faiths is for pussies, but - unfortunately - you still have to share the roadways. If only there was some way to demonstrate your moral superiority to other motorists...
If you are tired of secularists telling you that The Lord has no place in our government and our public institutions, then show them that you disagree.
This symbol, this site, and this car magnet have been created for the millions of Americans who support the President and his vision for a government that embraces religion, morality, and family values. It shows worship to the Lord, respect for the President, and hope for all.
Finally, something to proudly display next to your "Support Our Troops" ribbon (made in China) and the one commemorating your child's perfect attendance at Eisenhower Elementary[1]. Because nothing demonstrates your insecurity in your faith and weak grasp on the Constitution better than plastering your vehicle/house with jingoistic knick-knacks.
I thought this site was a joke, a la Landover Baptist, but haven't found any evidence to that effect yet.

My immediate response was, what, and the Jesus fish eating the Darwin fish wasn't stupidly offensive enough?
I've always thought that educated, seemingly intelligent people electing guys like George W. and DeLay is pretty compelling evidence against the existence of any god. But I guess we've got to crack that evolution theory wide open before we get to the bigger picture, huh?

As a current, practicing Catholic-- well, that just annoys the hell out of me. Apart from Bush getting top billing over, you know, God and all-- it just goes to show that people are trying to converge religion and politics, which is not a good idea. Look at Afghanistan a couple of years ago. Iran anyone? Hell, take a look at Christianity itself when it had the run of the world hundreds of years ago.
As for Denny-- if you do love freedom, then you need to allow people freedom to express their feelings. If they don't like religion and choose to say things about it-- tough! You're typical of people who love freedom-- you're only confortable with freedom and long as they agree with you. This country with founded upon freedom of religion and that includes people who don't subscribe to religion.

Mithras spoiled my night. No, whoever came up with this spoiled my night. NB: I do not object at all to christians putting the fish symbol where ever it pleases them; I would have preferred that the folks who embedded Darwin's name into the fish symbol......

Sorry, Denny-- I've been reading too many blogs lately form people who REALLY DO think like that. I re-read your comments, including the second one that I hadn't read, and nearly fell off my chair when I read "Praise Jesus and the NRA".
The first thing that jumped out at me is that Bush's name gets a bigger font than God's. Oh, and the phrase "...Under God" is positioned, um, under Bush. It's pretty clear who's getting top billing.
This is a joke, right? It just screams joke.
