Cinderella Man review is up. Gasp in awe at the parallels I draw between it and Rocky III (Mr. T even makes a cameo!).
Okay, maybe not.
I predict that Ron Howard, the absolute worst good director in the world, will get his 2nd Best Director Oscar for this, thereby giving him two more than Alfred Hitchcock, Robert Altman, Martin Scorsese, Stanley Kubrick, Sidney Lumet, and Federico Fellini combined.
But be fair. The above hacks only 27 nominations between them.
Don't jump the gun. Deuce Bigelow: European Gigolo hasn't even come out yet.
Any director who survives working with Russell (my attitude stinks more than my armpits)Crowe doesn't deserve an Oscar. He deserves combat pay.
