Me aching head

Posted by pete at July 11, 2005 7:57 AM

APCB Beerfest I was a rousing success, at least to the point where my memory begins to fade out. Many local blog personalities stopped by, including Chuck, Lyn, PDiddie, owlish, HWRNMNBSOL, and Frothing-at-the-Mouth Lad. The gathering was, as The Wife described it, multi-tiered, as there were blog folks, friends from college and law school, and the appearance of several reprobates from my high school days. As if spending seven hours drinking didn't make me feel old enough.

Many thanks to Jackie and Paul for putting up with us. I definitely plan on doing it again, maybe one of these days when highs in Houston aren't topping off near 100.

A Perfectly Cromulent Gathering, part 2
Hmm. Looks like the gathering continued for a fairly long time after I left. Oh well. I had a good time, anyway. And no hangover. :) Not that I was expecting one - 3 beers in 4 hours doesn't do......

Sounds fun....I'm bummed I missed it. BUT....I did buy you guys 2 pitchers...did the waitress bring them or will there be a last minute trip to Jamaica charged to my credit card??

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it out on Saturday---it's always nice to have the patio filled with crazy beer swilling liberals and their small children.

And yes, there were a couple pitchers distributed among the APCB crowd---thanks for the long distance round.

Huh, I thought I hallucinated that. Muchas gracias, Don. Now I'll have to reciprocate by paying five times as much for weaker beer in Park City.

Hooray for the absence of cameras!

You don't have to buy me any beer in Park City....just don't make me go to that "strip club" again. I'm still having nightmares about it...

He told me that YOU made HIM go. HMMMM.... I can't wait for dinner tonight.

It was a group decision...and one of the worst ever made by a group in Utah since the Mormon Missionary party decided "This" was the place.

I blame Campos. But then, I always do.

I was very bummed to miss it - hope the next one's in the "cold" month.
