Don't have a lot of time for picking apart version 4.0 of the President's "Why We Fight in Iraq" speech, but I thought this line was too good to pass up:
Together, we've killed or captured nearly all of those directly responsible for the September 11 attacks
Well sure, if you count the ones that blew up in the planes, I suppose.
I'm ashamed to be an American when you consider that we, as a democracy, choose our leaders. Is this really the best that we can do?
this summer i did a lot of traveling this last summer. as i flew back and forth across america at 35,000 feet i noticed a haze hanging over the land from the coast to middle america like a mantle. as the palne took off the haze became so thick that you could not see the earth. i thought this a symbol of the pall surrounding americans in political atmosphere today. politicians are sending up smoke screens to hide what they are truely doing.
Or you were flying over Pittsburgh.
Thank you, try the salmon.
If they can translate Star Wars trailers into leetspeak, how come they can't do they same with Presidential platitudes? Thoz t3rr1sts R tota77y v4pr1zed!! pwn3d!!1!!
"Why We Fight in Iraq"...maybe more accurate as "Why You Fight in Iraq"...no, really, it's "Why They Fight in Iraq".
All I can say is, I hope Shrub drinks himself into a coma, the shock of which gives Cheney a four-chamber heart attack. It's our only hope.
And then we get President Hastert? Eesh.
OMG, we're doomed.
And of course, Osama bin Laden... you know, the one Cowboy promised to take "dead or alive?"
