"Werewolf?"
"There wolf. There castle."

Reviews, we got reviews...

First, the tardily submitted Flightplan write-up that didn't make it by the release date thanks to Hurricane Meter Maid - 2.5/5

Next, Walace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, which opens today - 4.5/5

I submitted a review for Serenity, but it has yet to be published (Greg Bellavia got his in first, and they're probably not in any big hurry to put another one up). I think I gave it 4 out of 5.

My review of Waiting... should go up tomorrow or Sunday.

And finally, I didn't see In Her Shoes or Two for the Money. Strangely, I feel no sense of loss.

Thanks for the review of the Wallace and Gromit film. I was holding my breath as I read it, hoping you'd love it so I could see it without reservation. I've loved W & G for years now and when I was teaching it was required viewing in my English classes. (Film is literature, afterall.) Since I live in the Land of the Kinderfolk, I'll wait until a very late showtime next week to see it, but I'm champing at the bit until then.

P.S. I read an article about the film that said someone connected with the production (not Park) suggested replacing Peter Sallis as the voice of Wallace. Thank god that was kiboshed! I mean, can you imagine the cheek?!

Curse of the Were-Rabbit has been observed with both children. Kids enjoyed it thoroughly. I think it was pretty good, although with all the trips escorting folks to restrooms, getting napkins, etc., I'm not entirely sure what the movie was about. I think a carrot was involved somehow.

I think you're confusing this film with Nick Park's erotic movie called, Hef's Bunnies Loved My Carrot. It's easy to make that mistake.
