Don't worry about being swept in the World Series Astros fans, you'll get over it. Trust me.

Now, can we all get back to bitching about how lousy the Texans are?

In other news, my high school alma mater is 7-1 and 5-0 in District play. Go Tigers.

Consol is 7-0....that's more wins than the team had in the collective four years when we were there.

Go Rockets! Rafer Alston got you all in check!

Jesus Christ, my alma mater just lost to Alvin. And I can't believe we're not getting sued by the Atlanta Falcons for ripping off their uniforms.

I think we were in the same football position back in the day. Aside from the obligatory homecoming walloping of Pearland, we didn't hold out much hope against Galveston Ball or La Porte.

by the way (directed to any Astros fan), why did the hometown fans back off and let the opposition go out of the field of play to make a catch to essentially end their team's season? Fans own the stands.

'Cause we're Houston, the city with heart, or something to that effect. Consol won 9 games in my 4 years there, and unlike the football players (who spent 2 years on JV, I imagine), as a band chump, I attended every one of those miserable events.
Thank you Astros, and Go Rockets! As for football, Hook 'em Horns!
