But not before he makes a bunch of other guys die for theirs.

If these comments make no sense, it's because you obviously haven't seen this teaser trailer for the next season of 24.

"Losing faith?" "Sacrifice yourself?" Honestly, given that this airs on Fox I'm surprised it took six seasons to make the Jack Bauer = Jesus connection.

I find it really weird that FOX continues to poke at the right wing with a sharp stick (Family Guy…old The Simpsons…) yet ABC seems to be the FOX news of primetime. That whole 9-11 “docu-drama” and LOST. While LOST is my favorite show, it’s super jingoistic and pro-Cheney administration, it makes me cringe sometimes.

Yet this teaser and last years storyline are totally, totally mirroring what all us conspiracy theorists and haters of the administration *think*. Just seems weird…or, ironic if you will.

I haven’t seen 24. I’ve heard reports that Jack tortures people, but it turns out they’re always they guilty ones. And it works, which is pretty unrealistic.

I like that screenshot. It makes it look like he’s about to fight Goro in Mortal Kombat.

Also: it’s possible to torture people in 12 seconds and get them to reveal everything. Contrary to all the real-world evidence that’s been adduced on the subject.
