The answer he supposedly received was that in the privacy of their locker rooms the other teams all referred to him as David Fucking Eckstein. That was enough convincing for Tony.
Anyway, I officially hate him.

Immediately after the game, the douchebag interviewing Eckstein led off with, "You're 5'7", the shortest guy on the field," obviously intending to contrast his phsyical height with his Herculean achievements, but the look Eckstein shot him - basically "If We Weren't On National Television I'd Strangle You With 5'7" of Your Small Intestine" - threw him off just a little.
I LOVE DAVID ECKSTEIN.
So what, if he is the shortest player on the team, he won MVP for the World Series, which makes him the best. All of you idiots out there that think any differently about this, then guess what you suck! David Eckstein is the cutest and best baseball player that there ever was or will ever be.
My question is why does everyone love Albert Pujols. I'm not saying he sucks or anything bacause he is good. But why can't i see more David Eckstein jerseys in Busch Stadium than Albert Pujols. When i go to a game all i ever see are Albert Pujols jerseys. Why don't i ever see someone wearing an Aaron Miles jersey. Heck Aaron Miles is one heck of a player. What i would just like to say to anyone who is thinking about buying a Cardinals jersey. Don't go for what everyone else has and go for someone different. Be different and make a difference!
