"Even the Chinese are against me."

Posted by pete at March 1, 2007 12:14 AM

I ran the URL for APCB through The Great Firewall of China to see if I'm censored. In spite of my pinko leanings, I'm apparently no friend of Mao:

Blog 9, however, is not blocked. Which only goes to prove what we suspected all along: that all newspapers are tools of the International Communist Conspiracy.

I followed this link, and had fun checking on a number of sites, until I noticed that when I tried a site again a few minutes later, I would sometimes get a different result.

I just re-ran the same URL you entered, and it said the URL available…

Sorry.

Wait a sec. Your URL is blocked but Jesus’ General at http://patriotboy.blogspot.com/ is not? I wonder what exactly in your posts has triggered the blocking.

my guess is the word “blog” in the URL.

Yep, tried out APCB when I was over there last summer. Also blocked were everything from BlogSpot, The Learning Chanel, and BBC. MSNBC self-censors their articles.

I didn’t, however, try The John Birch Society. No sense in spending a week in an interrogation room.

My wit and wisdom, too, is denied to the Chinese people.

How very sad for them.

Commie lover!

My work here is done.

I have never been blocked from APCB while in China. Of course, I haven’t been there since November. Maybe they only recently got wind of your subversive leanings.
