The Incredible Hulk is better than Iron Man.
Two caveats:
1) Your enjoyment of the movie will be greatly enhanced if you have a decent grasp of the supporting cast, as well as a lot of affection for the old TV show.
2) I'm not writing the FT review, so I don't need to justify my statement any further.

Awesome, my boys loved Iron Man, I’ll let them know that Hulk is a go! What about me you say? I saw both Sex & the City and Zohan (time killer before flight home from Florida I swear!) last weekend, so your fine cinematic taste is lost on me.
Holy crap. ‘Cause Iron Man was frickin’ full of win.
