Me too. Now all they have to do is stop being so stern about the “8 p.m. family hour” that the FCC designates (I think), and allow “f” words and other expletives to be heard during that time. Only then will the Republican party truly be about America.
These things never happen just right, though. To get the full effect of the right’s capacity to spin at hyperspeed, we’d need to have a similar situation on the other side. For example, if Joe Biden happened to have an unwed teenage daughter who was knocked up, and we’d known about that for weeks or months, it would be a LOT more fun to watch all the cons going crazy trying to explicate just why one case was so shameful while the other actually reflected the most normal, acceptable, even decent of all-American family values.
Lacking that necessary contrast, this is just more of the same Well, It’s Totally Different When It’s One Of Our People b.s. Politics as usual.
